Warren, New Hampshire
Warren, New Hampshire, is a small town when it comes to population. The geographical size of the town isn't all that small, however. Warren only has roughly 19 people per square mile, to their 930 person population. Warren is located almost directly between the New Hampshire White Mountain National Forest and the NH Lakes Region. The town of Warren was granted in 1763 to several people, most notable was named John Page. Warren was named in honor of Admiral Sir Peter Warren. Admiral Warren commanded a fleet during a conflict with Canada that ended in the capture of Louisbourg, Nova Scotia in 1745. This united the colonies with a common goal and gave them proper fishing and fur trading rights. In 1770, the original grant was renewed when it was discovered that the town line was actually incorrect and an additional piece of property was added to the grant. The town library of Warren bears its name from the first settler in Warren, Joseph Patch, who built a cabin there in 1767.

The children of Warren residents grades K-6 are educated at Warren Village School, the children grades 7 and 8 are tuitioned at Haverhill Cooperative Middle School, and then the children grades 9 through 12 are taught at Plymouth Regional High School.
